Annual Program Showcases
Telluride Student All-Star Jazz Ensemble
Telluride Jazz Festival’s flagship educational scholarship program is the Telluride Student All-Star Jazz Ensemble. Dedicated Jazz students are invited to send audition recordings of their musical skills to program director Prof. Josh Quinlan. These esteemed jazz performance educators accept elite musicians to travel to Telluride the week preceding the festival to work on compositions and study music together.
Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse
Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse is a multi-disciplinary, independently-owned, award-winning Contemporary Music Program. The program encompasses the advancement of music education, performance training, touring, and studio recording. Soundhouse producers and directors are all practicing musicians, and whether working collaboratively or independently, they do so in friendship.
Caleb Chapman’s structure is unique with a conviction that great music education cannot happen without passion, intelligence, and — above all — personal commitment, a fact demonstrated by a portfolio of programs and award-winning bands spanning two decades and over 5,000 musicians with virtually 100% receiving college scholarship offers.
Stillwater All-Stars
